Daniel C. Burns
Dan Burns is a partner of Beckman, Burns & Nguyen, based in the Connecticut office. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, including state and federal courts. Dan is also a member of the New Haven County and Connecticut Bar Associations, and is a member of the Intellectual Property Section of the American Bar Association.
Prior to joining Beckman, Burns & Nguyen, Dan was associated with Berdon, Young & Margolis, PC, a recognized law firm in Connecticut established for over half a century. Dan has represented a wide variety of business and individual clients in the New Haven area in transactional, administrative and litigation matters for over a decade. He has a diverse background in several practice areas, including business law, real estate, litigation, criminal law and commercial practice. He has a passion for representing individual artists, and for intellectual property law, and has himself performed and recorded as a bass guitar player.
Dan graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2001, where he was a member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board and the Criminal Trial Clinic. He graduated from Albertus Magnus College with a bachelor of science degree. Dan has been recognized for his pro bono service by the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Fair Housing Center. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Foundation for the New Haven County Bar and is a member of the Foundation's Fundraising Committee.
